This policy outlines the rules and procedures for drivers to cancel their scheduled rides in our carpooling service. Our goal is to ensure a reliable and efficient service for all users.
Drivers are required to cancel their scheduled rides at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled departure time. This allows us to notify the affected students in a timely manner and make alternative arrangements if necessary.
To cancel a ride, drivers must use the cancellation feature in our app. The cancellation will be effective immediately upon confirmation in the app.
If a driver cancels a ride less than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, the following consequences will apply:
Please note that we understand emergencies and unexpected situations can occur. If a late cancellation is due to an emergency, please contact our support team to discuss the situation.
If a driver fails to show up for a scheduled ride without any prior cancellation, it will be considered as a 'No Show'. A 'No Show' will result in an immediate one-week suspension of the driver's account. Multiple 'No Shows' may result in permanent deactivation.
